Charles River Associates (CRA) Expands Finance Practice

New Vice President James Massey Brings Expertise in Financial Valuation and Business Consulting

BOSTON--()--Charles River Associates (NASDAQ: CRAI), a worldwide leader in providing economic, financial, and management consulting services, today announced that James Massey has joined the firm as a vice president in the Finance Practice based in Dallas. Mr. Massey brings more than 30 years of experience providing financial valuation and merger and acquisition advisory services to S&P 500 companies, private equity firms, institutional investors, hedge funds, and private companies. He has worked with clients across many sectors, including energy, insurance, telecommunications, information technology, and manufacturing/industrials.

Mr. Massey has provided financial valuation analysis and opinions/reports pertaining to going-concern businesses, fairness and solvency issues, majority/minority equity interest structures, debt interests, and fixed and intangible assets. Mr. Massey has additional expertise in corporate finance, contract negotiation, and operational management.

Mr. Massey joins CRA from Alvarez & Marsal Financial Valuation Services where he was a Managing Director. Previously, he was a Managing Director and City Leader for Duff & Phelps in Dallas, and founded the Dallas office at Houlihan Lokey. Mr. Massey is licensed with the Securities and Exchange Commission through the NASD as a Financial Securities Representative (Series 7, 63, and 65 Investment Advisor designations). He received a BA degree in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University.
