WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Easter traditions come in all shapes, sizes and activities. One special tradition on Long Island involves dozens of GEICO associates, thousands of assorted holiday treats and the Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN).
GEICO's Woodbury office teamed up with INN to make baskets for children who otherwise may not get that experience this Easter. Associates organized a drive to donate toys, treats, and all the essential trimmings and then spent time making sure the baskets were well filled and artfully wrapped.
This weekend 172 youngsters will be surprised with their very own Easter baskets to open and enjoy.
The Easter deliveries are part of GEICO’s ongoing community good works program organized by the GEICO Corporate Community Citizens committee.
