FiscalNote offers free accounts through new .Gov Program

WASHINGTON--()--FiscalNote, a technology startup building a revolutionary platform for analyzing government strategy, today announced the .Gov Program, opening up free access to their platform for users with email addresses ending with .gov.

Starting today, employees of federal, state, and local governments will be able to sign up for access and see why FiscalNote is the platform every lobbyist is talking about.

“Our platform is changing the way companies and organizations approach government affairs by building a unified tool for government relations management,” said FiscalNote CEO Tim Hwang. “By opening our service to legislators and other members of government itself, we hope to bring another level of insight to their day-to-day activities.”

Legislators and their staffs stand to benefit the most from the program – as FiscalNote’s cutting-edge analytics will give them additional tools when writing and fighting for legislation. They’ll learn how networks work within their own legislature, gain insight into their own voting behaviors, and understand which of their bills have a greater likelihood of passage.

“For those on the Hill or in a statehouse, FiscalNote will be an indispensible tool that leads to more effective governing,” Hwang said.

While these users will have the opportunity of seeing how legislation in other states has fared, local officials could more easily track what is happening in their own statehouse. Additionally, employees of federal agencies will gain greater understanding of public comments on regulations using FiscalNote’s sentiment analysis.

The program is expected to have a waitlist, as the FiscalNote system processes account requests, and is open through the end of current legislative sessions. If you have a .gov email address, sign up for access on the FiscalNote website.
