Movable Ink Hires Former Return Path Executive to Accelerate International Expansion

Senior Vice President to drive new EMEA business and manage growing demand by regional brands for company’s contextual email technology

LONDON--()--Movable Ink, the global leader in contextual email technology, today announced the hiring of Dragana Ljubisavljevic as SVP, General Manager EMEA. Prior to joining Movable Ink, Ljubisavljevic was Managing Director, EMEA and APAC for Return Path where she drove geographic expansion and achieved 40 percent and 60 percent annual revenue growth in EMEA and APAC, respectively.

Ms. Ljubisavljevic brings 20 years of high-level sales and marketing, client success, partnerships and software engineering experience to Movable Ink. Her commercial and technical expertise spans multiple tech industries where she has worked in digital, email marketing, data insights, SaaS, mobile, and telecoms for some of the largest global brands. As SVP, General Manager EMEA, Ljubisavljevic will be responsible for expanding Movable Ink’s EMEA business from the company’s London office.

“Following our record growth in the U.S. last year, we have our sights set squarely on continued expansion to international markets,” said Vivek Sharma, CEO of Movable Ink. “Dragana’s proven track record of driving revenues and intimate knowledge of the EMEA business landscape will be invaluable to our efforts.”

Previously, Ljubisavljevic was Managing Director, EMEA for Return Path before also taking on APAC. Prior to that, she was Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships for Yahoo! and held senior sales and marketing positions in EMEA and APAC at Motorola, Panasonic Mobile Communications and NEC Technologies. She has extensive experience building and leading European businesses and teams, with a particular focus on start-up, emerging technologies and markets.

Ljubisavljevic has been both a finalist (2013) and judge (2015) for the FDM everywoman in Technology Awards, an honor that spotlights the most talented women in the UK transforming the technology industry. In 2013, in its inaugural year in London, she became a mentor to TechStars, the number one technology startup accelerator in the world.

“Having spent my career working with technology companies in EMEA, most recently in the email marketing sector, I have a unique vantage point to Movable Ink’s growth potential in these regions,” said Ljubisavljevic. “Companies doing business across these geographies have an increased appetite for marketing technology that helps both improve the customer experience and increase sales, and I see great opportunity to build on this momentum.”
