NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BetterCloud, the leading provider of critical insights, automated management and intelligent data security for cloud office platforms, today announced that Russell Sachs will join the company’s executive team as Chief Revenue Officer. Sachs is a veteran sales leader with more than 15 years of experience building winning sales teams and driving dramatic revenue growth for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise software companies. At BetterCloud, Sachs will be responsible for worldwide revenue generation strategy and execution to bolster the company's position as the leading software vendor in the cloud IT space. Under Sachs’ leadership, BetterCloud expects to grow its sales team by more than 150 percent by the end of 2016.

Prior to joining BetterCloud, Sachs served as executive vice president of Sales at Work Market, an online platform and marketplace that helps businesses manage freelancers, contractors and consultants, where he grew top line revenue tenfold in just three years while building three separate organizations — sales, sales development, and customer success. Sachs was previously director of Sales for Dell Services at Dell, Inc. In that role, he led an enterprise team of nationwide service sales executives, who were responsible for selling Dell’s full suite of services to Fortune 1000 companies. Sachs also co-founded email services provider MessageOne in 2000, which was acquired by Dell Services for $155 million in 2008.
