Two Winners Receive a Total of $10,000 in NEST 529 College Savings Scholarships

Big Dreams $10K Giveaway Winners Announced by First National Bank of Omaha and Nebraska State Treasurer Stenberg

LINCOLN, Neb.--()--Nebraska State Treasurer Don Stenberg, NEST 529 College Savings and First National Bank of Omaha today announced two winners in the “Big Dreams $10K Giveaway.” Winners will receive a total of $10,000 in scholarship money into NEST 529 college savings accounts.

More than 6,800 individuals across the country entered the drawing by going to NEST529.com. Two were randomly selected as winners to receive a contribution of $5,000 each, provided by First National Bank of Omaha, program manager for NEST, Nebraska’s 529 College Savings Plans.

The winners are as follows:

  • Matthew Joyce- Cozad, Neb.
  • Charlie Miliner- Hillsborough, N.H.

We all wish for children’s success and happiness, and we know that higher education will make a difference in these young lives. Saving through a NEST savings account is a significant step toward making these dreams reality,” State Treasurer Stenberg said.
