NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National law firm Seward & Kissel LLP is pleased to announce that Robert J. Gayda has joined the Firm’s New York office as Counsel in the Bankruptcy and Reorganization group. He previously served as Counsel with Chadbourne & Parke LLP in their Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring group, where he was also seconded to the Royal Bank of Scotland’s (“RBS”) Global Restructuring group from 2009-2010.

Mr. Gayda’s practice focuses on bankruptcy and financial restructuring. He has experience representing clients in a wide range of matters, from out-of-court restructurings to bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Gayda’s clients include creditors’ committees, hedge funds, banks, insurance companies, bondholders, agents for lender groups, and other creditors in all phases of restructuring. He also counsels entities seeking to invest in distressed assets as well as companies considering filing for bankruptcy protection.
