NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Duff & Phelps, the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor, today announced the acquisition of CounselWorks, LLC. CounselWorks, founded in 2006 by Rosemary Fanelli and Ron Resnick, is a leading provider of compliance and regulatory advisory services in the U.S. to clients in the alternative asset management sector. Led by Ms. Fanelli, who serves as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, CounselWorks will be incorporated into Duff & Phelps’ global Compliance and Regulatory Consulting (CRC) practice. Ms. Fanelli will lead Duff & Phelps’ Compliance Consulting practice in the U.S., and will report to Julian Korek who runs the CRC practice globally.
