ORLANDO, Fla. & TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tourico Holidays, a global leader in wholesale travel brokerage, today announced that it has increased room nights sold in Canada by 65% since opening its Toronto office in 2013. The company now has more than 750 hotel partners in Canada and plans to expand its team dedicated to the region to support continued growth.

Over the last three months, Tourico Holidays has nearly doubled its North American sales and technology team, providing additional support to supplier partners throughout the region. Each new member to the support team has graduated from the Tourico Holidays Travel Academy, a 10-week in-house program designed specifically to ensure the next generation of employees is professionally trained and knows the business.
In addition to committing more resources to its Canada-based partners, Tourico has also improved its technology and efficiency. Since 2014, the global wholesaler has improved its customer service efficiency by 600% through the implementation of a new customer relationship management platform that centralizes client data for quicker and more personalized customer support. Between a larger team and a more efficient customer service system, Tourico is continuously working to ensure every travel partner in Canada has the resources it needs to succeed.
