MCR Awarded Task Orders Totaling $24.6M to Support the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center

MCLEAN, Va.--()--MCR Federal, LLC (“MCR”), a premier provider of Integrated Program Management services, announced that the company has been awarded two task orders totaling $24.6 million to provide acquisition and financial support services to the MILSATCOM Systems Directorate at the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC).

The task orders were procured under the SMC’s Acquisition and Financial Support (SAFS) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract, which is administered through the GSA One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business contract. Each task order has a three-year period of performance.

Under the task order for performance-based financial management services, MCR will provide a broad range of services, including cost estimating and analysis, acquisition reporting, Earned Value Management, schedule analysis, Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) support, training and international partner support.

Under the task order for performance-based acquisition support, MCR will provide a broad range of services that include manpower and information management, performance reporting, and IT readiness assessments.

These two efforts will seek to improve processes, standardize best practices, and reduce both cycle times and costs to improve overall mission effectiveness.

The MILSATCOM Systems Directorate plans for, acquires and sustains space-enabled global communications in support of the president, Secretary of Defense and combat forces. MILSATCOM systems consists of satellites, terminals, and control stations that provide communication for approximately 16,000 aircraft, ships, mobile and fixed sites. As a jointly-manned directorate, it interfaces with major commands from each of the Armed Services, Air Force Headquarters, various Department of Defense agencies and international partners.
