DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Join the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) on December 8 for a visit from Alexandria, VA-based NIRI President and CEO, Jim Cudahy. Cudahy’s presentation will feature an in-depth discussion of the creation and deployment of NIRI’s first-ever certification testing program that will create the profession’s inaugural class of Investor Relations Charter (IRC) members in the spring of 2016.
Since assuming his current role early in 2015, Cudahy, working closely with the NIRI national board of directors, has implemented the IRC program designed to propel Investor Relations professionals to a new level of credibility and distinction.
“Over the course of my many years of work with professional organizations, I’ve found that creating, building and gaining broader recognition through certification has become an invaluable tool for highly skilled practitioners to build credibility,” says Cudahy. “I’m delighted to share our insights as we prepare to kick off this program in early 2016. I’ll also share insights into the latest developments affecting the profession.”
Joining Cudahy for the presentation will be Deb Kelly, partner at Genesis, Inc., a Denver-based strategic and creative consultancy that works with corporations to optimize brand, strategy, communications and investor relations. As a long-time member of NIRI and newly honored NIRI Fellow, Kelly has been instrumental in developing initial IRC testing parameters and standards.
