PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Breakaway Technologies, a business performance management consulting firm, today announced the launch of a mid-market version of its Managed Markets Gross-to-Net Solution, Gross-to-Net Financials Express. The Express version of the gross-to-net solution is an analytical and forecasting application specifically designed for mid-size manufacturers of branded pharmaceuticals and biologics that will provide visibility into channel and product forecasts and improve reserve accuracy by creating a single source of truth and extending self-service analytics throughout the enterprise.
Gross-to-Net Financials Express provides actual analytics, reserves management and forecasting by product, by channel, and by month, covering all gross to net line items, including channel-specific rebates and discounts, as well as non-channel financial items such as returns, industry fees, and co-pay cards. Leveraging state-of-the-art in-memory OLAP technology, the application provides real-time calculations of unit projections through a series of pre-built algorithms, and discount amount and rate calculations using a configurable basis of estimate for each line item. The application allows for multiple versions, what-if scenario analysis, adjustments, and management overlays, while maintaining full traceability and auditability of changes and assumptions.
