A serial entrepreneur, Lee co-founded The Honest Company and founded ShoeDazzle after co-founding LegalZoom in 2000. Each of his companies has grown to more than $100 million in revenue thanks in part to Lee’s abilities to identify critical market voids and guide companies forward as they mature.
Lee’s appointment comes as ZipRecruiter moves past 100,000 customers and more than 100 job-listing partners. Today, the company’s database collects more than 6 million resumes each month and sends more than 26 million personalized job alert emails every day. In 2015, 5.8 million job-seekers have used ZipRecruiter to identify and support career opportunities and changes, a 25 percent increase from 2014, signaling market demand for more personalized guidance throughout the hiring lifecycle.

Lee graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business from UCLA and received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law.
