Company to Build on Zazoom’s Buzz60 Success with the Launch of New Branded Content and Social Media-driven Content Services

NEW YORK--()--Zazoom Media Group, a leading premium digital video content producer through its Buzz60 and Parenticity brands, announced today that it has merged with emerging social media video content producer Veuer LLC. As part of the merger, Steve Charlier, a long-time media industry executive with Tribune Media and the founder of Veuer, joins the company as President. The expanded company will continue to operate as Zazoom Media Group.

“At our core, Zazoom understands the power of efficient, captivating and high-quality storytelling with real journalistic integrity and credibility,” said Tim Minton, Chairman and CEO of Zazoom Media Group. “By its very nature Veuer’s use and understanding of social media puts its finger on the pulse of news and information that is relevant, engaging and interesting. I am confident that bringing our two businesses together, with the addition of Steve’s leadership, will further support Zazoom’s mission to provide the viewer with exactly what they want to watch and on the viewing platform of their choice.”

Zazoom is a producer and multi-platform distributor of compelling, shareable, advertiser friendly video content. Each day, Zazoom produces videos telling great stories across dozens of categories with unparalleled speed and quality that entertain as well as inform. Its primary brands, including Buzz60 and Parenticity, are watched over 50M times each month across a growing network of more than 11,500 partner sites – including MSN, Hearst, AOL and Youtube – as well as tablets, smartphones, connected TVs and ultimately, any device with a screen.

Veuer is the go-to resource for social media-driven custom video content. Veuer’s capabilities target a new generation of multi-platform consumers by aggregating the social media activity from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook among others, around any type of event – be it news, music, sports or entertainment – and providing captivating commentary for the viewer. This merger will power Zazoom with real-time, consumer-driven video resources that will more effectively enable Zazoom journalists to see and tell the full story.

Together, the new company will launch and create new video content brands that can be distributed across Zazoom’s partner sites as well as through emerging mobile and online platforms.

“I have always been driven towards finding the best way to identify what consumers want to watch, create that content in the most compelling and captivating way, and then deliver that to the viewer on the platform most convenient to them,” said Charlier. “Zazoom is equipped with a highly talented team that knows the direction in which viewing behavior is going and I am thrilled to be joining forces to help shape the future of video content creation.”

Mr. Charlier brings to Zazoom over 25 years of television broadcasting experience as well as his vast knowledge of the digital media space as founder of Veuer, Press Club Digital Media, TLL Digital Studios, and Charlier LLC.
