Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) and FNF Canada Form New Relationship

Property-Data Program to Benefit Real Estate Appraisers

PICKERING, Ontario--()--MPAC and FNF Canada, a Division of Fidelity National Financial (FNF), are pleased to announce they have signed a letter of intent to reach a final agreement to provide residential property data to real estate appraisers across Ontario.

“This is a solution that makes accessing residential property data economical and efficient,” says MPAC’s Executive Director of Business Development, Lee Taylor. “Real estate appraisers have asked for a cost-effective way to leverage MPAC’s data and we are excited to offer this new platform that will meet their request.”

FNF Canada will lead the appraisal management industry by ensuring consistency and reliability of property data used in residential real estate appraisals, and as a result, maintain data integrity that industry partners have come to rely on.

“FNF Canada is pleased to be working in partnership with MPAC to deliver an innovative solution for Appraisers within the Canadian marketplace. Our new preferred pricing for square footage and detailed property reports showcases FNF`s commitment to supporting and working in partnership with the appraisal industry,” commented Brian Bell, Vice President of Product Development.

Appraisers who wish to participate in this program can take advantage of its significant cost benefits, as well as the opportunity to purchase a newly created Subject Property Detail Report. The report is designed to provide appraisers with pertinent details relating to properties they are interested in, including a three-year sales history.

A new FNF Canada/MPAC online delivery channel will provide access to the reports, and will offer the following reports to subscribers:

  • Residential Square Footage Report – for as low as $2.00 (plus HST)
  • Subject Property Detail Report - $20.00 (plus HST)
