DynCorp International Awarded One-Year Extension to Continue Supporting U.S. Army under LOGCAP IV

MCLEAN, Va.--()--The U.S. Army Sustainment Command has awarded DynCorp International a one-year contract modification on a task order to continue providing base life support and operation and maintenance services in Afghanistan under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract. The modification is valued at $154.3 million.

Under this task order, DI provides operations and maintenance support, including but not limited to facilities management, electrical power, water, sewage and waste management, laundry operations, food services and transportation motor pool operations.

“The extension of this task order solidifies our customer’s trust in DI to continue providing best-in-class support services to U.S. forces in Afghanistan,” said Randy Bockenstedt, senior vice president of DynLogistics, DynCorp International. “The DI team takes pride in our work on this important program.”

This cost-plus fixed-fee task order was originally awarded in July 2009 with one base year and four one-year options, with a current total value of $6.6 billion.

The LOGCAP IV contract is the Army component of the Department of Defense’s efforts to award contracts with U.S. companies to a broad range of logistics and support to U.S. and allied forces during combat, peacekeeping, humanitarian, and training operations. The contract vehicle, established in June 2007, has a total term of up to 10 years.
