Embrace Home Loans Continues Aggressive Recruitment Efforts, Adds New Key Executive to Support Northeast

National lender hires 21-year industry veteran John Costa as regional lending executive for New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania

NEWPORT, R.I.--()--Embrace Home Loans, a prominent leader in the mortgage industry, announced today that industry veteran John Costa has joined as regional lending executive for the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Costa will spearhead all retail sales production and recruitment in the region.

Costa is one of three key new hires Embrace has made since late June, which includes former Lenders One CEO Jeff McGuiness as chief sales officer and former ServiceLink sales executive John McGinty as Southeast regional lending executive. The addition of Costa, McGuiness and McGinty supports the national lender’s initiative to aggressively expand to match growing consumer demand for home financing.

Unique within the industry, Embrace Home Loans is committed to differentiating itself by the experience it delivers to its customers. Its customer-centric approach to lending – along with its distinct processes like Quick Close7™ and Approved to Move™ for ensuring borrowers close on loans within seven business days – has earned it the reputation as a trusted provider. Additionally, Embrace’s creative marketing professionals provide its branches with the needed support to succeed. Not only does Embrace consistently receive a 98 percent customer satisfaction rating, but it has won several employer-of-choice awards.

“Embrace Home Loans has provided exceptional service for more than 32 years,” said Costa. “With a solid reputation and a proven track-record for delivering an outstanding experience, they are a fast-growing lender and I’m proud to be a part of their team.”

Most recently, Costa was senior vice president and head of mortgage sales for Weichert Financial Services. He also held positions at Sutherland Global Services and spent more than 17 years at PHH Mortgage.

“Last month, the National Association of Realtors reported that pending home sales in the Northeast are the strongest they’ve been since February 2007, rising 4 percent in July and the largest percent growth of any other region,” said McGuiness. “With such strong demand, we needed the experience and expertise of someone like John. We’re excited to have him on board and confident he will help drive success for Embrace.”

Embrace Home Loans plans to continue expansion efforts and is currently recruiting branch managers, producing managers and loan officers across its branch network. The lender also plans to expand into new communities as the housing industry strengthens.
