SALEM, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ATRIO Health Plans, serving individuals, families, employers and Medicare beneficiaries in southwestern Oregon, has appointed Matt Gougler as Chief Marketing Officer. Gougler joins the company with 20 years of corporate marketing and health care marketing experience.
Before joining ATRIO, Gougler was responsible for digital marketing and social media operations at Health Net, Inc., working to facilitate a deeper engagement between customers and the brand. He also led outbound communications for members, brokers and employers for all regions under the company umbrella. Prior to Health Net Inc., Gougler held product roles at Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, marketing their national account health care product portfolios. Also, as an adjunct instructor at Marylhurst University since 2008, Gougler has helped develop health care marketing courses for its accelerated online MBA program.
