PAAIA Launches Second Video in Iran Diplomacy Ad Campaign

WASHINGTON--()--The Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) today announced the release of the second video installment in a national communications campaign in support of the nuclear agreement between the world powers and Iran.

Officially launched on August 3rd, PAAIA’s latest advertisement shows that the nuclear deal not only has broad support within the Iranian American community but is also supported by America’s top nuclear scientists, former military commanders and national security leaders from both parties as well as former Israeli intelligence chiefs.

“The intent of PAAIA’s national communications campaign is to ensure that the general public, our lawmakers, and opinion makers are aware of the Iranian American community’s support for the nuclear accord,” explained Dr. Leila Austin, the Executive Director of PAAIA. “We believe that the Iranian American community can provide a credible, convincing, and compelling voice in support of the President’s Iran diplomacy efforts.”

The results of PAAIA’s 2015 Public Opinion Survey show that nearly two-thirds of Iranian Americans (64%) approved of the P5+1 framework agreement with Iran designed to place limits on Iran’s nuclear program. They are hopeful that the nuclear accord will lead to civic and economic reform in Iran.
