FRISCO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Conifer Health Solutions, a leading provider of healthcare performance improvement services, has appointed James (Jim) F. Brashear to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Brashear brings more than 30 years of legal experience in data privacy, cyber security, software technology, regulatory affairs and corporate governance to Conifer Health.

Brashear joins Conifer Health from Zix Corporation where he served as general counsel and corporate secretary. Previously, he was a partner in the corporate securities practice group at Haynes and Boone, LLP and also spent more than 10 years at Sabre Corporation, where he held various leadership roles, including corporate secretary and chief governance officer. Brashear was also senior attorney at AMR Corporation’s subsidiary American Airlines, Inc., and an associate at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom and O’Melveny and Myers.
Brashear earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego and a Juris Doctorate with honors from the University Of San Diego School Of Law. He is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court and the State Bars for both Texas and California.
