CACI Awarded $46 Million Contract to Support Software Development for U.S. Army

Work Will Streamline Personnel and Equipment Requirements Process

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--CACI International Inc (NYSE MKT: CACI) announced today that it was awarded the $46 million Army Force Management System (FMS) contract to continue providing software engineering support for the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Officer (PEO) Enterprise Information Systems (EIS). This five-year contract continues CACI’s work for this customer in the Business Systems market area.

PEO EIS develops, acquires, integrates, and deploys information technology (IT) systems around the world to support Army and DoD-wide communications, logistics, medical, finance, personnel, biometrics, training, and procurement operations.

Under the FMS contract, CACI will provide software development and systems automation to improve Army business processes for documenting and authorizing personnel and equipment requirements. The company will also deliver cybersecurity and systems support to help secure and maintain the IT infrastructure on which this software runs.

CACI brings a successful track record of supporting Army PEO EIS with data center consolidation, software engineering, systems modernization and sustainment, and fielding of new software capabilities.
