LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--G.F.BUNTING+CO, a California-based strategic communications firm, today announced the hiring of Tony Freinberg, an award-winning network television news producer and former William Morris Agency talent agent.
"Tony’s deep knowledge of business, journalism and television news, coupled with his strong relationships in the entertainment world and beyond, make him a valuable addition to our team," said President Glenn F. Bunting. "He is wise beyond his years and we couldn’t be more excited to hire him."
Freinberg is joining G.F.BUNTING+CO effective immediately as a Senior Account Executive based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where he will work alongside former Los Angeles Times Editor-in-Chief Russ Stanton and prize-winning investigative reporter Ralph Frammolino.
“Working at G.F.BUNTING+CO is an ideal match for my interests and skillset,” said Freinberg. “As I have gotten to know Glenn and the team over the past few months, I have been struck by their professionalism and passion for helping clients. I can’t wait to begin working with them.”
Freinberg spent the past five years producing news segments for NBC’s flagship show “Today,” where he was an integral part of the team that won back-to-back Emmy Awards for Best Morning Program. From 2005 to 2009, Freinberg worked at the William Morris Agency where he rose from the firm’s famed mailroom to become a television agent. A dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom, Freinberg started his career as a print reporter at London’s Sunday Telegraph, where he specialized in political coverage.
