NEW YORK--()--Kroll, the global leader in risk mitigation and response solutions, today announced the appointments of William Krivoshik as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Barbara Cooperman as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Both senior executives are based in Kroll’s New York City headquarters location.

Krivoshik brings deep subject matter and industry expertise, tested leadership capabilities and a proven record of success to Kroll. He has held several senior IT leadership positions with industry-leading companies in sectors as diverse as consulting, telecommunications, financial services, insurance, publishing, and media and entertainment. Most recently, Krivoshik served as chief information officer (CIO) for Time Warner Inc., a global leader in media and entertainment. In that role, Krivoshik was responsible for global technology, leading development and execution of the firm’s enterprise-wide information technology strategy. Prior to his tenure at Time Warner, Krivoshik served as CIO for Marsh & McLennan Companies implementing technology management processes and governance. Before working at Marsh & McLennan, Bill served as CTO for Thomson Financial, first-ever enterprise CIO for AIG and held senior leadership roles at Citigroup, General Electric and Nynex (now Verizon). He started his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Krivoshik received a M.S. in Computer Engineering at Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Princeton University.

Cooperman comes to Kroll with significant accomplishments from a wide range of executive marketing positions. She most recently served as the CMO for the College Board, a non-profit organization with a membership association made up of over 6,000 of the world’s leading educational institutions. At the College Board, her responsibilities extended to overseeing all marketing functions, including branding, marketing strategy, web services, design, and marketing and publication operations. Earlier, Cooperman held various executive marketing roles within the Reed Elsevier organization for over 12 years. At Reed Elsevier, Ms. Cooperman was the global CMO for LexisNexis, an industry leading provider of digital legal data, tools and software. At LexisNexis, Ms. Cooperman helped reenergize the brand by introducing a compelling mission, visual identity, thought leadership and corporate social responsibility programs. Before Reed Elsevier, Barbara was president and co-founder of Marketing Matters focusing on assisting clients with brand strategy and new product launches. She started her career working with high-recognition consumer brands such as Revlon, Clairol and R.H. Macy & Co. Cooperman received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Trinity College, Hartford, CT.
