PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ghislain Lescuyer, Chairman of the Management Board of Saft, has signed today, a contract with Bruno Vazzoler, Eric Cotelle and Valéry Dreano from Zodiac Aero Electric. Under the terms of the contract, Saft, world leader in the design, development and manufacture of high-tech batteries for industry will supply its ULM® (Ultra Low Maintenance) to Zodiac Aero Electric, the world leader in aerospace equipment and systems for the Irkut MC-21. The MC-21 is a medium-range passenger aircraft that is currently under development by Russian airframe manufacturer Irkut, part of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).
