Winckworth Sherwood Selects Nexthink to Deliver Visibility over Its IT Infrastructure

Law firm employs End-user IT Analytics to improve service delivery

FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom--()--Nexthink®, the unique provider of End-user IT Analytics, has today announced its V5 modular platform has been selected by law firm Winckworth Sherwood to provide greater insight into its network infrastructure, and improve the efficiency of its IT service desk.

Nexthink V5 pro-actively monitors IT networks and reports on important end-user related events, such as changes in the IT infrastructure, application usage and bandwidth, error messages and crashes, as well as potential security risks. The solution ensures the performance of IT services is recorded and uniquely visualised from the end-user’s perspective.

Christel Aquila, Head of IT at Winckworth Sherwood, said “It’s critical for our IT systems to be robust and available around the clock to enable our lawyers and support staff to carry out their work effectively and efficiently while ensuring compliance at all times. Our IT team supports a vast array of applications and database systems most of which are running simultaneously and it is always a challenge to identify the root cause of issues when they occur particularly when they are random and not affecting the entire estate.“

She continued “Nexthink allows us to visualise events affecting a particular PC or end-user and quickly identifies anyone else in the firm who has a similar configuration or potential security risk. Real-time reports and alerts provide us with intelligence we didn’t previously have, meaning that we’re slowly moving from being a reactive to a proactive team, reducing the number of calls to the helpdesk and cutting down on time and resources spent resolving issues.”

Founded over 200 years ago, London-based Winckworth Sherwood provides a wide range of legal services to a diverse range of businesses, not-for-profit organisations and private individuals.

Tim Pollard, vice president Europe at Nexthink, said “The intelligence and visibility provided by IT operations analytics are already delivering tangible benefits to the firm by improving the speed and efficiency of its IT services. This, in turn, has enabled Winckworth Sherwood’s lawyers to deliver more efficient services and a better client experience.”
