FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RigData announced today that it will produce a free Well Count report to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry following the decision in March 2015 by Baker Hughes to discontinue their highly regarded quarterly publication on counts.
The RigData Well Count is to be published four times per year (January, April, July and October) in both a report and spreadsheet format. The first report will be available in July 2015 and will include historic reference data back to Q1 2012.
The report will provide three separate tables of data:
- Wells Counts by Play/Basin
- Land Rig Counts by Play/Basin
- Land Wells/Rig by Play/Basin
