Paula Waggoner-Aguilar to Speak at Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter May 2015 Luncheon Meeting in Dallas

DALLAS--()--Paula Waggoner-Aguilar – Chief Financial Officer, Owner and President of The Energy CFO, LLC will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Dallas Petroleum Club, 2200 Ross Avenue. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00 p.m.

Waggoner-Aguilar will present a discussion titled, “Taking Risks in Your Career and the Leap to Entrepreneurship.” A question-and-answer session will follow her presentation.

Waggoner-Aguilar is a Chief Financial Officer, Owner, and President of The Energy CFO, LLC, a niche entrepreneurial energy finance firm providing CFO leadership to energy and technology entrepreneurs and start-ups. Waggoner-Aguilar began her career in the 1990’s by working her way up the accounting ranks in Latin America, beginning in oil field services and highly engineered equipment. Over the past 20 years, she has worked in senior leadership roles alongside independents, industry executives, and engineers. She has a passion for starting up, fixing, and growing strong companies. Last week, Shale Oil & Gas Magazine announced Waggoner-Aguilar joined its Advisory Board. In 2014, the San Antonio Business Journal named Waggoner-Aguilar Best CFO for Private Medium-Sized Companies. Likewise, she has also been recognized for her various efforts in recruiting and helped co-found the WEN South Texas chapter in 2013.

Waggoner-Aguilar is originally from Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of The University of North Texas (MS Taxation), The University of Texas at Arlington (BBA Accounting), a Texas CPA, and a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
