CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tom Joseph has joined Grant Thornton LLP as a managing director in the firm’s Financial Services Advisory practice, based in Charlotte.
Joseph has nearly 25 years of experience in enhancing business models, growth strategies, cross-functional enterprise business integration, sales and business development and leading new business startups in large Fortune 100 companies, as well as optimizing core operations. In this new role, Joseph’s responsibilities will include supporting the growth of the financial services advisory offerings for the firm’s Carolinas practice, which includes offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C., and Columbia, S.C.

Most recently, Joseph served as vice president-client executive within the Financial Services and Banking segment at North Highland Co., leading initiatives related to large, complex delivery programs, business transformation, client strategy and sales/service performance. Previously, he was senior vice president and head of enterprise client management process at Bank of America Corp.
Joseph currently serves on the board of directors of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and is a Six Sigma Certified Green Belt. He received a master’s of business administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from High Point University.
