SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SHI International Corp., one of North America’s top 15 largest IT solutions providers, posted $1.3 billion in revenue for the first quarter of 2015, representing 12 percent year-over-year growth.
Revenues were propelled by significant growth in Microsoft products and services, especially new deals with small and mid-market organizations, and cloud products in organizations of all sizes. Led by Office 365 and Azure, SHI’s Microsoft cloud business among commercial customers grew 126 percent in Q1 compared to the same period a year ago. Revenues tied to cloud-based products represented 20 percent of all Microsoft revenues through SHI. Overall Microsoft revenue among small and mid-market organizations (including cloud products) grew 33 percent year over year.

Revenues from SHI’s commercial small and medium customers saw the biggest jump of the quarter, rising 23 percent year over year, followed by commercial enterprise (9 percent) and public sector sales (5 percent). Q1 sales in Canada, the United Kingdom, and France were also up significantly over the same period last year.
