Grant Thornton relocates Kansas City office

New space designed to support rapid growth in the region, enhance employee collaboration to better serve clients

KANSAS CITY, Mo.--()--Grant Thornton LLP has relocated its Kansas City, Mo., office within 1201 Walnut St. to floor 22. The total space leased is 19,757 square feet.

Grant Thornton employees began work in the new office on Monday. The firm relocated from floor 10.

“This move reinforces Grant Thornton’s commitment to the firm’s continued growth in the region,” said Brett Lewis, Grant Thornton’s Great Plains managing partner. “Our new space will enhance employee collaboration and innovation, allowing us to better serve our current and prospective clients in the area.”

The new space was designed with a focus on better space utilization — incorporating a more open, efficient layout with additional collaboration rooms and increased multi-purpose space.

All workspaces have access to natural light as well as modern conference and team rooms, which include the most current AV and video conferencing capabilities.

Grant Thornton employs approximately 200 professionals in the Kansas City area. The firm operates an additional Missouri office in St. Louis, as well as two Kansas offices in Overland Park and Wichita.
