COLUMBUS, Ohio--()--Schneller, LLC a Kent, Ohio based provider of custom decorative laminate films, reinforced laminates, thermoplastic sheets and non-textile floor coverings was recently awarded the Crystal Award for Excellence from Ohio’s Edison Technology Centers.

The transportation-industry focused firm was nominated by Edison Technology Center, PolymerOhio who supported Schneller in technology connections and supplier sourcing.

Matthew Harthcock, Director of Engineering and Technology, accepted the award on behalf of Schneller April 1 during a luncheon at the Ohio statehouse. On hand to present the award was Bruce Fawcett, Executive Director of PolymerOhio.

“We chose to honor Schneller due to their ongoing relationship with PolymerOhio. Over the years, we have helped them develop strategic connections with technology collaborators and key suppliers that have positioned Schneller for positive growth.”

Schneller has been providing innovative products since 1964. They serve a global market for commercial and private aircraft interiors and offer a portfolio of engineered decorative products including:

PolymerOhio provided advice and facilitated development of partnerships with various suppliers and industry experts that benefited Schneller in a number of areas. Schneller became a founding member of the Texture Working Group, formed in 2012 by PolymerOhio to share best practices and jointly pursue new technologies in performance-critical surface textures.
