Lingofly Launches Knowledge Share Platform for Teaching and Learning Language

Offers online and mobile app to learn new languages and make friends around the world

SEOUL, South Korea--()--Lingofly, a startup that offers language exchange platform, launched a knowledge sharing platform for teaching and learning language.

Everybody has gone through hassles to learn foreign languages at least once in their lives. Lingofly aims to help students and teachers around the world find and share their natural linguistic talents to learn foreign languages.

The site, which launched officially in December 2014, is now geared up with video conference solution and engaging contents. Lingofly kicked off its language exchange service in Korean first as a test bed with aims to build worldwide language exchange platform. The startup is now actively garnering curious users who want to learn or teach foreign language via online and its android mobile application.

The startup was founded by Sangwon Park, who majored in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning at KAIST and T.U Berlin. He figured the most effective way to learn a foreign language is to have conversation with the natives who speak the language.

“It’s pretty simple. The focus is not on the learning. It’s on the communication. The change in perspective changes your attitude in how you master the foreign language,” says Park.

Students are equipped with time swapping features of Lingofly, Lingotime. With its 30 minutes of given Lingotime, students can have live conversations with native teachers about topics of her interest. After logging in, students can browse lessons for available teachers and the real time lesson on the way.

Applying yourself as a teacher on Lingofly can be equally gratifying as well as being a student. Simply sign in and turn yourself as a teacher on the website. Being a teacher to exchange your mother language can be immensely rewarding and inspiring when one accepts the cultural differences and its ensuing values. Making friends comes as a bonus.

Lingofly wishes to tackle expensive costs in learning a foreign language and present itself as an alternative when running short with pool of native talents. The startup shows its ambitious goal to become a language sharing platform for educational equality in the future.
