Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Selects Telos ID Designated Aviation Channeling for Aviation Worker Background Checks

Integration with Quantum Secure’s SAFE Provides Increased Efficiency and Flexibility of Airport’s Identity Management Processes

ASHBURN, Va.--()--Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), among the country’s ten busiest airports, has chosen Telos Identity Management Solutions, LLC (Telos ID), to provide Designated Aviation Channeling (DAC) services for processing aviation worker background checks.

Telos ID integrated its channeling service with Quantum Secure’s SAFE software suite, reducing costs, improving data integrity, and increasing the efficiency of badging operations for PHX. SAFE includes applications to automate physical security system functions.

DAC services are used to submit aviation worker biographic and biometric data to conduct background checks that are required for individuals working in secure areas of U.S. commercial airports. Integration of this process with other critical security functions streamlines badging office operations.

“We are pleased to support PHX and look forward to continued work with Quantum Secure to bring new efficiencies and cost savings to more airports in the coming months,” said Telos ID’s Mark Griffin, president and general manager.
