Merkle Strengthens Its Retail & Consumers Goods Practice with Three Strategic New Hires

COLUMBIA, Md.--()--Merkle (www.merkleinc.com), a leading data-driven, technology-enabled performance marketing agency, announced the addition of three new senior members to its Retail & Consumer Goods practice: Aileen Cahill, senior vice president; Kristine Elliot, vice president; and Victoria Platt, vice president.

Aileen Cahill will serve as a strategic partner to Merkle’s key retail and consumer goods clients, helping drive business growth and promote customer engagement across digital and offline media and channels. Aileen has more than 25 years of experience in retail and CPG digital marketing, CRM, customer experience and data-driven customer analytics. Prior to joining Merkle, Aileen was the founder and a managing partner at strategic marketing firm Customer Ergonomics, chief marketing officer for a healthcare company and chief customer officer for a travel services organization. She holds a MBA in Marketing from Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management and a B.S. from State University of New York at Binghamton.

Based in Colorado, Kristine Elliot will lead client teams to deliver world-class digital CRM solutions, and will drive business across marketing channels by leveraging Merkle solutions for loyalty, search and data. Prior to joining Merkle, Kristine was part of the executive team at Trueffect, a start-up digital ad technology and media buying company focused on direct response advertising, where she developed an account management practice and company-wide strategies to leverage display as an addressable and measurable marketing channel. Prior to Trueffect, Kristine was the global lead for the Retail and CPG practice at FICO.

Victoria Platt, an expert in customer experience and personalization with more than 20 years of experience, will help to grow Merkle’s consulting practice with a focus on transformation, strategy, process and governance for retail and consumer goods companies. She comes to Merkle from Accenture, where she was responsible for retail business services and digital strategies as well as created a new service offering centered on store associates and the seller experience. Prior to Accenture, Victoria served as an innovation strategist at IBM Research where she was in charge of next generation customer intimacy and the monetization of social networks.
