CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InsightSquared, the leading provider of business analytics for growing companies, today announced that Jonathan Tushman, former Sapient software engineer and Pipewave co-founder, has been appointed vice president of engineering. Tushman will join the InsightSquared executive team to lead and scale the engineering department in building Software-as-a-Service business analytics applications for growing companies who want to run their business by the numbers.
Tushman brings more than 20 years of technology experience to the InsightSquared executive team. Most recently, he served as head of advertising technology at ZEFR, a technology company that empowers brands to identify and engage their online video audience. While there, Tushman led all advertising technology initiatives, strategy and technical implementations. He was also responsible for building the ZEFR Boston office, where he led a team of technologists focused on advertising and marketing product innovation.

Prior to InsightSquared, Tushman was a software architect for the Advanced Technology Group at Sapient. He went on to attend Harvard Business School and later founded and sold Pipewave – an early Google-certified video ad server – to ZEFR in 2012. Tushman currently serves as a mentor at TechStars Boston.
