BARCELONA, Spain--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GENBAND, a leading provider of real-time communications software solutions, today announced that T-Mobile Czech Republic has selected GENBAND’s market-leading QUANTiX Session Border Controller (SBC) Solution to enable SIP Trunking in its two data centers in the Czech Republic.
“It’s critical for us to offer our customers the feature-rich communications they need,” said Josef Šikýř, Vice President Regional Transformation from T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. “GENBAND’s intelligent SIP Trunking enables us to deliver these features with increased security and reliability while maintaining T-Mobile’s network security strategy. It also provides us with extensive visibility into the network and helps us to manage our critical communications assets.”
GENBAND’s QUANTiX SBC is a next-generation solution that reduces complexity and simplifies the network edge by securely managing, routing and controlling real-time voice and multimedia sessions across fixed, wireless and enterprise IP networks.
The QUANTiX SBC’s flexible configuration was also a key decision factor for T-Mobile since it allowed interworking with their established Mobile Switching Center Servers to provide SIP PBX service.
“We’re pleased to provide T-Mobile with the most advanced SIP Trunking solutions on the market today in order to help them better serve their customers,” said David Hiscock, GENBAND’s Senior Vice President of Sales for EMEA. “Our SBC solution, already deployed in some of the world’s largest and best-known telecom companies’ networks, continues to grow market share in the EMEA and we expect this to be the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with T-Mobile Czech Republic.”
