BARCELONA, Spain--()--Asavie and zvelo are delighted to announce a partnership bringing zvelo’s market-leading DNS categorisation to Asavie’s MODA product which is the leader in helping enterprises control mobile data costs.

Using zvelo’s DNS categorisation, MODA can quickly and easily control what enterprises spend their mobile data on.

Block access both domestically and while roaming to cost sensitive categories such as streaming video, streaming audio, social media or security categories such as malicious sites, anonymisers adult and objectionable content. zvelo covers 99.9% of the ActiveWeb, with real-time Auto Categorization of new websites and provides comprehensive, real-time malicious website detection.

“One half of one percent of all traffic is malicious or fraudulent,” says zvelo CEO Jeff Finn, “which equates to billions of prevented attempts to access malicious URLs each month when you are looking across global web traffic.”

Malicious traffic falls into 6 major categories: Botnet, Command & Control Center (C & CC), Malware-Call Home, Malware Distribution Point, Phishing/Fraud and Spyware/Questionable Software.

Ronan Boylan, Product Manager with Asavie says, “Companies need to be protected from both cost exposure and security risk. With MODA, enterprises can control their exposure to both with one product.”

Asavie’s technology is OS independent meaning this security & cost control is automatically enabled across all your estate of iOS, Android, Windows and Mi-Fi, USB dongle devices.

Asavie Technologies is participating in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, from 2-5th March on stand 7F70. zvelo is also participating in the Congress.
