NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bloomingdale’s will be ringing in the Year of the Ram this Chinese New Year with unique merchandise, special events and cultural presentations from Jan.22 – March 2, 2015.

Shoppers at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street, Century City, Medinah Home Store, North Michigan Avenue, San Francisco Centre, South Coast Plaza, and Tysons Corner can join in on the celebration and test their luck with the Chinese red envelope tradition from Feb. 19 – 22, 2015. Select envelopes will be filled with prizes such as a bMoney card in a denomination of $8, $88, or $888 (a traditional lucky number in the culture); a limited-edition Year of the Ram tote bag; special offers at the Bobbi Brown, Clarins, Estee Lauder, and SK-II counters; savings at select Bloomingdale’s dining destinations; and special savings at Maximilian Fur Salon (59th Street, Century City, North Michigan Avenue, South Coast Plaza, Tysons Corner only).
Bloomingdale’s will also be debuting showcases curated by the retailer’s fashion office that are filled with plenty of gift-worthy goods at the following locations: 59th Street, Century City, Medinah Home Store, North Michigan Avenue, San Francisco Centre, South Coast Plaza, and Tysons Corner. The showcases will include pieces such as a limited-edition reusable “Little Ram Bag” inspired by Bloomingdale’s iconic Brown Bag, limited-edition Godiva chocolates in Year of the Ram boxes, Fringe candles, Voluspa candles and a limited-edition Clarisonic MIA3.
Also look for additional merchandise celebrating Chinese culture from Baccarat, Chloe, Fendi, John Hardy, Lalique, Maximilian Fur, MCM, Moncler, Salvatore Ferragamo, SK-II, Tissot, and YSL. Throughout the Chinese New Year celebration, and all year long, exclusive Tourism Programs for international and domestic visitors to Bloomingdale’s locations in New York, Chicago, Miami and San Francisco are available. In these cities, out-of-town visitors can receive a special Bloomingdale’s visitor savings pass and gift with purchase.
