LTCG Announces the Appointment of Rob Frederick as Chief Operating Officer

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--()--LTCG is pleased to announce that Rob Frederick, a highly experienced operations and IT executive leader in the insurance sector, will be joining its management team as Chief Operating Officer. Frederick comes to LTCG from Transamerica, one of the world’s leading financial service companies, which provides insurance and investments to more than 19.5 million customers. As President and CEO of its Enterprise Business Services division, he oversaw a staff of over 1,000 and demonstrated his abilities as a proven leader in running large-scale operations, including all aspects of information technology, finance, actuarial and project management departments.

In this newly created role, Frederick will oversee LTCG’s operations and information technology functions. This includes application processing, underwriting, policy owner services, claims processing, care management, assessments and the entire information technology department. Given the increased scrutiny on this product line and the growth in claims across the industry, his charge will be to enhance LTCG’s execution of core functions and processes and look to further integrate operations and information technology.

Frederick has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, including 15 years at Transamerica in roles of progressive responsibility. This included serving as Chief Operating Officer of Individual Savings & Retirement as well as Chief Operating Officer of Transamerica Capital. Prior to these positions, he also led strategic planning efforts for American General’s life insurance companies and systems analysis for Principal Financial Group.
