BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR magazine has won two top prizes in FOLIO: magazine's annual Eddie & Ozzie Awards honoring excellence in editorial and design. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR was also named an honorable mention in two other categories in the awards ceremony on December 11 in New York City.

- an honorable mention Eddie for its September 2013 article, "The Ultimate Energy Smack Down" Business, Energy/Utilities/Engineering category, referencing the work done by the NorCal NECA Zero Net Training Facility in San Leandro, Calif. and Red Top Electric Co. in Livermore, Calif.
- an honorable mention Ozzie for use of illustration in the Non-Profit, Business-to-Business Category
