LAKELAND, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the fifth consecutive year, Publix Pharmacy is the highest-ranking pharmacy in overall satisfaction in the supermarket segment according to J.D. Power & Associate Satisfaction Survey, a customer satisfaction benchmark study that provides pharmacy-specific performance comparisons among brick and mortar pharmacies.
The 2014 U.S. Pharmacy Study was based on responses from 13,951 pharmacy customers who filled a new prescription or refilled a prescription during the three months prior to the survey period, July-Aug. The survey measured prescription ordering, store performance, non-pharmacist staff, cost competitiveness and store pharmacist. Publix Pharmacy ranked number one in three of the five categories.
