ID.me and Little Pim Partner to Offer Discount to Educators and the Military Community

Using ID.me’s Verification Technology, Little Pim Will Offer 30 Percent Discount on Purchases

MCLEAN, Va.--()--Digital identity solution provider ID.me today announced a partnership with Little Pim, the #1 language-learning program designed for children under the age of 6. Using ID.me’s award-winning identity verification technology, Little Pim will offer a special 30 percent discount to teachers and members of the military community.

Little Pim produces high-quality education materials to teach toddlers foreign languages when they learn best, before the age of six. Developed by Julia Pimsleur Levine, daughter of language teaching pioneer Dr. Paul Pimsleur, Little Pim offers an at-home program for 12 languages that teaches children up to 360 new words and phrases. The program gives children an introduction to a new vocabulary and native accents with a system that is fun and easy to use. There is no previous language knowledge necessary.

Using ID.me, teachers and registered military (including active duty, retirees, veterans, military spouses and military family members) can have their identity instantly verified and relayed to Little Pim to receive the 30 percent discount. After successfully confirming their identity, users can log into ID.me’s Marketplace for access to discounts from Little Pim and hundreds of other partnering retailers, as well as earn cash back on purchases.

“The fear of fraud or being taken advantage of is often the reason retailers feel they can’t offer discounts to affinity groups online,” said Blake Hall, Founder and CEO of ID.me. “By partnering with ID.me and utilizing our verification technology, Little Pim can confidently offer discounts to teachers and military families online without the risk of fraud.”

“We live in an increasingly diverse society where being bilingual offers so many opportunities,” said Julia Pimsleur Levine, Founder of Little Pim. “We are proud to offer a discount to the educators and military families who can benefit from our program.”

Founded by two Army Rangers, ID.me is a digital identity network that enables brands to securely offer exclusive promotions to specific communities by verifying the consumer’s group affiliation. Previously, retailers had no way to offer special discounts online for groups, as there was no widely adopted solution where brands could easily see if a consumer was eligible for a particular promotion.

To take advantage of this exclusive discount from Little Pim, members of the military community and teachers first need to sign up online through ID.me, and then verify their credentials during checkout.
