MIAMI--()--Drawn to the excitement of the art scene in Miami, successful independent painting conservator Patrice Bertin has recently moved his studio here from New York City. Although he had established himself for many years as a successful independent painting conservator for the most prestigious art collections, the new energy of Miami reminds him of the emergence of New York’s Soho years ago. The diversity of architecture from the charming older Spanish or Art Deco to the new innovative tall buildings, the more sublime lifestyle, lush tropical landscape and climate as well as the different cultures have all inspired and lured him to Miami.

Bertin is a Professional Associate, AIC – American Institute of Conservation of Historic and Artistic Work. Trained in Paris at L’École Nationale Superiéure des Arts Décoratifs and Le Musée de La Marine de Paris, Bertin offers a comprehensive service from restoration of the art to the framing as well. Examples of the caliber of artists whose art he has restored include Renoir, Monet, Goya, Manet, Chagall, Velazquez, Robert Henri, Larry Rivers, Alex Katz, Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Wifredo Lam, to name a few.

In his new fully equipped studio at 291 NE 61st Street in Miami, he is now fully operational. Call (917) 612-8055 to schedule an appointment or for more information and visit his website at www.bertinartconservation.com
