--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The financial company, Fruitful (launched November 2014) is the first peer-to-peer (P2P) platform to hit the high street offering both retail savings and full-term commercial mortgages.
Fruitful combines great interest rates, protected savings and flexibility into one simple savings product. Connecting savers' money directly with commercial mortgage borrowers give savers long-awaited healthy returns. Meanwhile, businesses looking to secure a mortgage in an increasingly restrictive market can access an alternative lender for finance.
Fruitful’s partnership with respected charity, sendacow.org, sees them pledging to buy a dairy goat for families in need in Africa, when a new customer deposits at least £1,000. Luke Barnes, the 25-year-old entrepreneur behind Fruitful was the most successful crowdfunder on Crowdcube in 2013, surpassing their targeted funds in two days. Fruitful is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
