IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Daegis Inc. (NASDAQ:DAEG), a global information governance, migration solutions and development tools company, today announced the appointment of Michele Van De Hey as Vice President of Global Sales. In this newly created role, Ms. Van De Hey will be responsible for growing revenue through direct and channel sales of the Company’s portfolio of enterprise products.
Ms. Van De Hey brings 25 years of experience building direct sales operations, managing large channel sales organizations, leading programs to acquire new customers and structuring high performing sales teams. Her acumen in executing market strategies has resulted in double-digit revenue growth, expansion of partner ecosystems and high rates of new customer acquisition at her previous companies.

Prior to Daegis, Ms. Van De Hey led the development of new geographic and vertical markets for General DataTech, a $500 million technology integrator. Previously, she was the Director of South Commercial Sales for NetApp, where her strategies resulted in revenue growth and high customer retention rates. Earlier in her career, she served as the Area Vice President, Central U.S. Sales, for Oracle Corporation and had progressive sales leadership roles at Sun Microsystems.
