LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With over 300 exhibitors, Apps World landed last week at the ExCeL, London for its fifth successful year. Featuring two days of top level content delivered by more than 250 speakers, networking opportunities and two live hackathons, the flagship Apps World show proved a huge success creating excitement ahead of the German launch in Berlin, April 2015.
The show featured content covering everything from HTML5 & Mobile Web, Mobile Strategy & Marketing, Mobile Payments & Retail, TV and Multi-Screen Apps, API Strategies, Wearable Apps, Connected Car Apps, Gaming Apps Development, Enterprise Apps, Cloud Apps as well as Developer and Droid workshops. The six free-to-attend tracks proved a huge hit and were packed with developers on both days, with Developer World proving particularly popular.
Top level speakers from across the whole ecosystem came together to discuss the future of apps including; Physicist, Professor Brian Cox, Gadget Expert, Jason Bradbury, Peter Molyneux, Founder of Lionhead Studios and Kevin Harrington, Entrepreneur and Investor, Shark Tank.
Apps World hosted The Apps World and Razer Nabu Hackfest with 1st prize winners walking away with a Razer Blade 14” Laptop, a Parisian experience, driving track day experience and over £1000 in Amazon Vouchers. The winner of “Best Overall Hack” was Shush who entered the IBM Travel Smarter in London brief with their intelligent application that utilises a network of mobile devices equipped with microphones to recommend smart routes for cyclists with minimal noise and disruption.
Six Degrees, the organisers of Apps World Europe are now looking forward to launching Apps World in Germany, April 2015.
