HAGERSTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Merkle Response Management Group (Merkle RMG), a subsidiary of Merkle, a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer relationship marketing (CRM) firm and the nation’s largest privately held agency, announced that it has been chosen by the Surfrider Foundation to provide donation processing and acknowledgment fulfillment services to the organization. The Surfrider Foundation, a grassroots nonprofit organization, has dedicated over 30 years to the protection and enjoyment of our oceans, waves and beaches. The three-year contract for donation processing was initiated in August 2014.
The Surfrider Foundation selected Merkle RMG to help support the growth of the organization’s direct mail fundraising program and improve service to its supporters. Services include mail pick-up and opening, electronic deposit of checks, Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant credit card processing, intelligent document scanning and manual data entry. A proprietary web-based archive and retrieval tool called Arch-e makes accessing images of documents easier and more cost-effective for the Surfrider Foundation. As part of a comprehensive donor services solution, Merkle RMG also provides the organization with complete exceptions handling and timely printing and mailing of donor acknowledgments. All of these services were previously handled in-house.
