db x-trackers MSCI JAPAN INDEX UCITS ETF
(the "Sub-Fund”)

Dear Shareholders,
We refer to our notice dated 4 June 2014 in respect of the switch of the investment policy of the Sub-Fund from an indirect investment policy to a direct investment policy (the "Switch").
The board of directors of the Company hereby informs you as a shareholder of the Sub-Fund that it has resolved to amend, as of the effective date of the Switch, the Reference Currency of the Sub-Fund, from USD to JPY (the "Reference Currency Change"). Please note that the respective Denomination currencies of each of the share classes of the Sub-Fund will remain unchanged and that the Reference Currency Change will have no adverse or material impact on Shareholders.
The above Reference Currency Change will be reflected in a revised version of the prospectus of the Company, which will be visa-stamped by the CSSF after the effective date of the Switch and then available on the website of the Company, www.etf.db.com, or free of charge at the Company’s registered office or at the foreign representatives’ offices.
Capitalised terms not defined herein shall have the meaning given to them in the prospectus of the Company (the “Prospectus”).
