Heli-One Completes Major Modifications for Waypoint Leasing On Two S-76 C+ Helicopters for Offshore Oil-and-Gas Services in Indonesia

DELTA, British Columbia--()--Helicopter leasing customers around the world rely on Waypoint Leasing to help them modernize, grow and manage their fleets. Waypoint, in turn, depends on Heli-One to skillfully and efficiently provide mission-ready helicopters that their customers demand.

Waypoint recently chose Heli-One, the largest independent provider of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, to modify two Sikorsky S-76 C+ aircraft that leased to a customer servicing an oil-and-gas customer operating in Indonesia.

Working on an aggressive timeline, Heli-One used its extensive knowledge and certifications of the S-76 to deliver 13 vital modifications in just 12 weeks. Modifications included installation of a cockpit voice and flight-data recording system and, an enhanced VXP health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) and an external life raft.
