LAGUNA WOODS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Professional Community Management, Inc. (PCM), an Associa company, celebrated its partnership with Laguna Woods Village and saw a remarkable turnout for its week-long golden anniversary bash.
The first ten homeowners moved into the community on September 10, 1964. Now, 50 years later, featuring 12,736 homes and approximately 18,000 residents, Laguna Woods Village is the largest active adult community in California and as its community management company PCM has been there every step of the way.
Let’s talk numbers: The events during the week of September 8 - 12 were highly attended.
Close to 1,000 guests showed up for the Club Expo promoting 95 different clubs and organizations that exist within the community; a variety of acts were on display at The Talent Show in front of a crowd of over 600; The Gala Dinner, attended by Supervisor Pat Bates, Senator Mimi Walters, the entire Laguna Woods City Council and various Village board directors, brought in close to 400 patrons at $40 a plate; more than 300 music lovers took part in the Outdoor Concert as well as the Poolside Luau; and the golf course was full with 144 golfers for the 9/11 tribute event which generated more than $60,000 just from its 32 sponsors.
